Culture savings plan under fire

Cologne - 30 percent of the cultural budget will remove City Treasurer Norbert Walter-Borjans - and pushes it to considerable criticism. The National Cultural Council criticized the financial evaporation.
"This is a devastating blow to the financing of culture in Germany," said Olaf Zimmermann of the German Cultural Council.
